Anyway, All this rain has made it so that Eliza can't go outside to play and after these weeks of free roam of the outdoors she has gone a little stir crazy! Poor baby!
The exciting story of the week: On Friday I was going to my mom's house and it was rain/snowing (basically it was just really wet snow that wasn't sticking cuz the ground was still so warm). Anywho I was driving on some pretty wet roads which normally isn't that big a deal but I happened to be driving on the overpass on hwy 287 at Berthoud and it was pretty wet... but apparently wetter than I anticipated. I was going about 45 mph (the speed limit is 55mph at this location) and I started hydroplaning... I hit the breaks hoping to slow down and instead it locked them up and I kept sliding... and sliding... and sliding, barely missing multiple reflector poles and nearly rolling the car. I finally came to a stop in a ditch about 20-30 yards from the road but in the perfect angle to not be seen by other drivers and in deep enough mud to have NO hope of getting myself out. So before my stomach had a chance to relese my heart that was being held captive temporarily I called my mom to have her come get Eliza out of the car. (as a side note, she didn't even notice that we drove off the road and was only upset when Grandma fell while taking her to the other car.) So after I talked to my mom and told her where I was I called AAA (thank goodness for that and thanks to mom and dad who are paying for it!). They told me that it would be about 75min before someone could get to me... then the tow truck guy called and after he found out that I had the baby in the car he said he'd be there in 30-40 min so that made me happy. THEN I called Ben and told him what happened... He was about ready to come save me when i told him he didn't need to (what a great hubby). ... SO while we waited for people to show up we were pleasently (and guiltily) joined by paramedics, fire, first response, Berthoud police, and the sherif's dept. SO apparently the lady who watched me slide off the road called 911 but didn't bother to stop to see if i was ok... silly lady.
Anywho long story short we got pulled out of the mud, no ticket, and no damage to the car!
SO that was the exciting news of the week... can't really say much of anything else happened cuz it really didn't. ... Ben did get the sprinklers all put together but not reburried so currently the ditches are full of water and pipe... oh well it'll just help pack the ground down right? Speaking of sprinklers here are some pics of Eliza playing in our dirt/yard.

Eliza and Daddy watching confrence last weekend... what a couple of cuties!
Eliza made some new friends at Heather and Heidi's play and they just couldn't seem to keep their hands off each other! They would run across the room, arms open wide, and plow into eachother in a great big hug!
And this is her hat... the one she plays with all the time and wouldn't wear for love or money on Easter!
