Elder Jaron Waite has Left the Building.

Well it's been two weeks since I posted and I better catch up before I forget everything!

Last week was pretty uneventful. Eliza has officially started to walk. It's still a funny little toddle but she just walks everywhere. And if you were to check out her legs you'll see that she's sometimes a bit too anxious about getting to the running phase so she spends a lot of time falling down; Therefore resulting in bruises up and down her shins. But she is very happy about it so no complaints there. Now despite the happiness about walking she did spend three of seven days last week puking up everything we put in her mouth. So to say the least I don't really like the whole cleaning process that accompanies the stomach flu so the next time it comes around I'd love for it to just pass over my house!
Once we got over the flu with Eliza, Ben and I have been taking turns getting sick but at least we weren't throwing up. Jaron was set appart as a missionary on Sunday night and that was a fantastic experience and I'm really glad we got to be there for that!

So this week was fun. I had Jane and Macie on Monday and Thursday both of which were very good days. My family took Jaron to the MTC on Monday and droped him off on Wednesday afternoon. I'm sure that he was scared out of his mind but I know he's tough and he's going to do GREAT! (I'm going to miss you TONS and I'll write you I promise J-Wa!) Wednesday Mom and Dad Merritt took Ben and myself to the Stockshow in Denver to watch the bullriding finals. It was SOOOOOO SOOOO cool! I enjoy bull riding as is and then in person it's just so much cooler! Plus wandering through all the booths before it started made the whole experience great! A special thanks and props to the Richards family for taking on the challenge (HA!) of Eliza for the night. And as long as they didn't lie to us (hahaha) Eliza had a great time and was very adorable and good all night long even though she didn't ever go to sleep for them. The funniest thing they told us about was that Eliza is apparently a very big flirt. She just couldn't resist those handsome boys who paid so much attention to her. She would toddle across the room and just grin at them, they would clap and she would glow as she did it back... too funny... cute now; not so cute in a few years! But that about caps off my week I hope everyone is doing well and We'll up date (hopefuly with pictures) again next week.

Happy New Year

Well... Happy 2009 everyone! Our New years was awesome! New years eve Ben took the day off and Eliza went in to get a shot (last one with the Horrible nurse thank goodness!!!) and we spent the day hanging out relaxing. Eliza didn't stay up for New Years but Ben and I sort of did. I was kinda half asleep before midnight but it's ok cuz he woke me up to kiss me and send me to bed.
New Years day we had a fantastic lunch of enough fried food to take a year or two off my life. But it was totally worth it! After lunch Mom and Dad Merrit, Grandma Lael and our family loaded up the car and headed up to Granby for a long weekend with snowboarding and relaxation. It was incredibly beautiful up there not too much snow so we were safe driving and the mountain was even warm when we went snowboarding. Eliza thought the condo was the coolest place because she could go everywhere! and to top it off once we arived at the condo Eliza suddenly decided that she is ready to walk and so she did. So it is official we have a walker!
The snowboarding was great. I'm still sore from all of the falling I did but it was still a blast! Mom Merritt says she had a really good time as well which is good to hear! Friday night Mallory and Evan came up and stayed the night and all the boys and Mallory went to Winter Park on saturday morning when the rest of us went home. It was a really good week but now I'm exhausted and happy for my own bed.
I hope everyone elses week was as wonderful as ours!
