It's like a disease has taken my entire house hostage! Eliza spent last week sick and now I've spent this week sick. I'm telling you I need to have my entire place sterilized down to the last spindle on the chairs.
The good news about this is that Eliza has been a total Angel all week. She's been almost completely self entertained while I've been the bum on the couch. In fact there were multiple occasions where she could obviously tell that I didn't feel good and would come over to the couch and stroke my head. or ask to come up and cuddle me for a little while. It was soo cute and sweet! Then there's Ben who comes home, cooks and takes care of Eliza while I crash!
We were planning on going to UT this weekend to go to Abby's graduation but the weather thought better of it... So due to the fact that I felt so horrible and that it snowed so much that I-25 was closed we decided not to go. Ben did stay home on Friday anyway and took care of me! We got the house clean (which it desperatly needed after two weeks of neglect). Once the house was clean I pretty much slept the rest of that day and Saturday... but after all the rest I've gotten in the last few days I don't feel so horrible. Still pregnant and "pregnant sick" but the head cold is not kicking my butt as much and I really owe it all to Ben for being here to take care of Eliza and the house so I could sleep!
In other news... wait I don't have any... what a pathetic week.

What a Week!
Wow... some people claim to live in the outdoors all summer, others claim the pool as a permenent dwelling, myself... this month I have single handedly kept my Dr's office in business So I'm thinking I should just claim it as a permenent residence and maybe I'd save a little money that way....
Ok not really, I have felt like I've been in there a lot though. One day I was there for myself (pregnancy test so they'll keep treating me!) and then two days later I was there with Miss Eliza. Who apparently has something between croup and Pneumonia (worse than croup but not full blown pneumonia) and so she's been on a nebulizer, steroids, and an antibiotic. The good news about the antibiotic is that it should also fix the developing ear infection... and I already have the cream to fix the rash that is bound to happen following the antibiotics.
She's gotten a lot better about the nebulizer now so she doesn't cry as long and in fact she even falls asleep on a regular basis.
So other than being a diseased household our week was good. Eliza, Grandma Merritt, and myself all went shoping on Wed morning and picked out an adorable Easter dress and accesories! along with a couple of other outfits (she is SOO spoiled!).
Thursday we were suppose to go to the Zoo with the Waite clan BUT we went to the dr instead because we were up (literally!) all night long, even after letting her sleep in my bed. And that's when we got all the drugs and finally got some sleep!
Friday we did get out... we went to the museum and totally wiped Eliza out! She had lots of fun be we really wore her out! Heather ran my camera and she took somewhere around 300 pictures... Therefore they will NOT be posted But I have to admit that She has an incredible eye and skill with the cammera!

Saturday Ben and I have started to feel sick too... But Ben changed the breaks on "little red" and I did some baking and rested.

Today I went to sacrament meeting and and came home and traded with Ben so he could go teach primary (Eliza isn't well enough to be around all the brand new babies in our ward). It's the first time we've ever had to miss church since we had Eliza!
We hope everyone's week was better than ours! But if not... we hope you were at least as well taken care of as we were!

Summer is Coming!!
I'm so excited because summer is coming!! and this warm weather is fantastic and Eliza is loving it too all the time that she gets to spend outside is fantastic.... Now I guess it hasn't been warm all week but the end of the week was and currently I can't really remember the beginning of the week... So from what I can remember of my week:
I think that Eliza Painted more on herself than on the paper but it was fun non the less!
Monday afternoon I had Jane and Macie...
Tuesday Eliza painted a picture and got some flowers to Grandma Merritt to help her get better from her surgery. That evening was Enrichment with my ward (very enjoyable lessons on being the best "you" and seeing your own value)
I think that Eliza Painted more on herself than on the paper but it was fun non the less!Wednesday night was activity night
Thursday night was a stake YW leadership meeting
Friday night Heather and Heidi came over to spend the night and I actually got to put Eliza to bed this night (as opposed to the rest of the week)
Saturday was a good day Heather, Heidi, me and Eliza (Ben couldn't come because he was at work) all went swimming at the rec center but due to some inaccurate info on their web page we were there for 2.5 hrs which is WAY longer than Eliza could handle... But we did have LOTS of fun. Heather and Heidi climbed the rock wall and they seemed to enjoy it! And I must say that they are some tough girls based on how fast they made it to the top of that wall!
So other than feeling like I'm neglecting my husband and daughter because I'm never home in the evenings it was a good week. (Ok i don't really feel like I'm neglecting them I'm just getting tired of being gone so much!) The good news is that this week shouldn't be so insane! So enjoy the photos below!

Eliza and Lucky (heather and heidi's dog) playing outside!

Ya Baby!!
Another week gone by... kinda flew by but it's been a good one! (Sort of)
Eliza has spent a good portion of the week sick. I had no idea that food seems to double in size if it's going to be puked back up!? So for future refrence I'll need bigger blankets and towels to catch everything the next time she's sick. Lucky for me Ben was home every time she got into a bout of vomiting and he would change her sheets in her crib and I'd hold her and catch everything that kept shooting out! So on top of the fluish stuff she's had she has the runs as well so that made her chronic rash even worse! So in my flustration and concern for a very ill child I finally gave in a took her to the Dr. to see if there was anything they could do for her. Sadly they informed me that it's a virus and it'll work itself out. But the good news out of it all was that they gave me a steroid cream for her poor little bum and that has almost competely cleared up! YESSSS no more tears with changing diapers! (I'm telling you in the last two weeks I've never been more motivated to potty train my 15 mo old just to try to get rid of the rash... but no rush now)
So now that I've totally grossed everyone out with images of a puking and pooping baby lets move on... wait now... there isn't really much to move on to. That pretty much swallowed my whole week up!
Oh well I guess that's not true... Wednesday we found out that we're expecting our second! We are very excited, and we'll be happy with either gender but part of us wants a boy just to get the whole "pass the family name on" thing over with...lol... we should be due sometime around the first week of November... I'm a little bummed that I don't get to go to girls camp but that's life and girls camp will come around again one day. Jaron I'm very sorry that you wont get to meet him/her until they're about Eliza's age but it's ok because I'll send you lots and lots of pictures! Also the pictures of Kara will be in the mail asap honest!
Saturday I had the privillage of going to the temple with the YW presidency (for all you non-LDS peeps that's the adults who work with the girls 12-18 yrs) which was a fantastic experience, other than being sick with whatever it was that Eliza had earlier this week (bummer). The good news is it only seemed to last 24 hrs because today I feel great! So that is my week in a nut shell... lots of sickness and some good big news End of story.

Canon Camera's and Fantastic Weeks!
What an incredible week it's been! I've been busy as can be but I've enjoy'd most all of it!
This is Kara Lundmark, and She was the first official model to have pictures taken on my new cammera! (not that Eliza isn't cute but she was taking a nap at the time)
And this one was taken by Ben (two post's in a row with no Eliza pictures, that would be Absurd!)
Monday: presidency meeting in the am, then we had lunch and naps afterward. followed by an enjoyable walk in the beautiful 60 degree CO weather (sorry to all of you who still have snow and miserable weather!). After Ben got home from work we went out to Target to pull together a package to be sent to our favorite missionary!
Tuesday: Busy again, but I dont remember all of what we did that day. I know we walked the few miles to the bank to deposit some money (that we're very happy about getting back from the mortgage comp) and we spent a few hours at the park. I decided that I have a very "outdoorsy" baby and so I'm really looking forward to getting a yard put in that she can play in while I get some things done around the house.
Wednesday: The weather started to cool off a little (and I really mean only a little) but I was suppose to have Jane and Macie but they were sick so they didn't come over. Eliza spent the morning playing at Grandma Merritt's (which she loved almost as much as I love getting to run errands without her in tow)
Thursday: Eliza and I went swimming!!! Yeah!!! it was cold outside (like 40 degree's! lol) so we went to the local rec center for a dip... which ended about an hour later because she was completely purple (literally) and snuggling me to try and get warm!
Friday: Was by far the BESTEST BEST day of the week... you see I have this disease and it's called "mom". No I'm not refering to myself in any manner I'm refering to my own mother. She has a problem you see, she loves to spend insane ammounts of money on her children and grand children and this disease she has resulted in her buying me a brand new Canon EOS 450D (aka XSi) which I have been drooling over for years!!! I'm so unbelieveably excited I just about cried when she showed it to me! I have now decided that I owe my mother individual and family shots and any friends she wants pic's taken of for the next few life times so anyone who thinks they could get my Mom to ask me to take them, it's free game I guess ;-)
SO, today and forever more I am telling all the world that I officially have the best parents in the whole world! And it's not just because they buy me incredible gifts! It's because they Love me, care for others, Serve without any expectation of anything in return and then when they recieve something in return they are supprised by it! They are so deticated to their family and each child with their individual concerns and needs. They take the time to listen to you no matter what it is you're talking about or how hard it is to understand you through the tears! They're the most easily approachable people in the world (unless you ask my husband about asking to marry me, then he might tell you otherwise;-)). My parents are just the best. That's all there is to it. I Love them and I hope they know that!
Saturday: We went to the Flatiorn's mall for a very enjoyable morning, we let Eliza walk around for part of it and we just plum wore her out by the end! Ben bought the MarioKart for our wii and we've really enjoy'd playing it so far! What a fun game!
Sunday: that's today... it was a fun week... really incredible I tell you!

And this one was taken by Ben (two post's in a row with no Eliza pictures, that would be Absurd!)
